Fashion Industry Shines in Metallics for Fall

Even though most of you are probably getting spring fever, New York Fashion Week already has part of its focus on next fall. And we mean a shiny focus. Copper, gold, and other shining colors were all the rage this past week, and we couldn't be happier!

What makes us even more excited is the clothing isn't just in-your-face bling, it's tasteful, subtle hints of glimmer. Check out this gorgeous flowing frock from Victoria Beckham's collection - perfect for after work!

So how can you add some bling to your work wear without blinding your coworkers and clients? Choose subtle embroidery, mosaics and sequins - a little goes a long way with this hot glam.

What about the fit of the pieces? They're much more flowy and roomy. Many times, that can translate to unprofessional and casual. But these pieces featured at Fashion Week can be paired with a form-fitting skirt or straight pants to complete a professional look.

When you're on your feet all day, running from meeting to meeting, you need comfort, and that is possibly the most exciting part of fashion week. These flowing, metallic pieces scream comfort!

Stay tuned for more from Fashion Week and beyond...
